Our History
Commercial & Investment Properties has constructed over 1,100,000 square feet of commercial space, including several built-to-suit projects for medical and technology clients who require difficult design criteria to accommodate their special equipment and architectural needs. Several of these projects are in the Knoxville area including the 23,000 square foot Northshore Medical Plaza, the 83,000 square foot International Technology Office Complex, the FOX 43 Television studios and the East Tennessee Regional Eye Center.
Commercial & Investment Properties largest current project is Century Park. The 80-acre comprehensive office complex sits at the intersection of I-40 and Pellissippi Parkway. Four buildings in the project have already been completed, with more than 1-million square feet of office space expected when the park is finished. Some of the current tenants at Century Park include, TDS, Provectus Biopharmaceuticals, Vericom, Hitachi Zosen Inova, Great West, Maxum Healthcare and Scott Insurance.
The list of CIP’s developments also includes the Central Park West I and II office complexes with a combined 64,000 square feet, the 52,000 square foot BankFirst building in downtown Knoxville, the 100,000 square foot Gallery Shopping Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and Knoxville, Tennessee, and the 80,000 square foot Gallery Shopping Center at Rivergate shopping center in Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to the above listed facilities, CIP was responsible for the purchase and total renovation of a 283 room Holiday Inn in downtown Knoxville, as well as developing the award winning Tennessean Hotel and Residences in 2017.
